Meet Amaury Nolasco (Fernando Sucre on Prison Break)
The actor that plays Fernando Sucre on "Prison Break" is Amaury Nolasco. Amaury was born on December 24, 1970 in Puerto Rico. He attened school at the University of Puerto Rico where he studied biology as a full-time student. Initially, he did not intend to become an actor. Later, he was approached by a director and appeared in a commercial.
After various acting gigs, Amaury moved to New York, where he trained at the American British Dramatic Arts School. Soon after that, he guest starred in various tv shows such as Arli$$, CSI : Crime Scene Investigation, and ER. His first role on a feature film was as "Orange Julius" in 2 Fast 2 Furious. Later, he went on to co-star opposite of Bernie Mac in Mr. 3000.
When Amaury was asked about Prison Break he said "It's one of those shows that keep you looking forward to next week. OK. Are they gonna get out? What's gonna happen? Or this or that, and bacically that's how it works for me as well. I get so excitied because I wanna know what happens to me next."
