London born - Brooklyn raised Miller is part African American, Jamaican, German, French, Dutch, Syrian, and Lebanese. His signature look and acting made him the perfect fit for the character Michael Scoffield on Prison Break. As the show's popularity increased he became the breakout star of the 2005 season.
He began his acting career with guest spots on tv, including roles in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Popular," "ER," and in the ABC miniseries "Dinotopia." His first film role was in "The Human Stain," playing a young Anthony Hopkins. After that he landed supporting roles in "Underworld," "Stealth," "Joan of Arcadia," and "Ghost Whisperer."
Wentworth appeared in two Mariah Carey videos, "We Belong Together" and "It's Like That." Both music videos are directed by Brett Rattner, who also directed the Prison Break series pilot. Wentworth looks around the prison set for inspiration. He once said " The prison helps a great deal in keeping me grounded in the character."
His favorite novel is "Where the Red Fern Grows" by Wilson Rawls. Before he got his break in acting Wentworth worked at Borders for two years. His favorite coffee drink from Starbucks is a Venti Peppermint Mocha Chip Frappacino. Currently, Wentworth lives in Chicago and claims he loves his fan base.
